John Armleder is a Swiss performance artist, painter, sculptor, critic, and curator working in Geneva and New York. He was connected to the international Fluxus movement during the 1960s and 1970s, and co-founded the Groupe Ecart in Geneva in 1969. Recent exhibitions include Kunsthalle Zürich (2004); Mamco, Geneva (2006–07); MUMOK, Vienna (2010); Palais de Tokyo, Paris (2011); Tate St. Ives (2011–12); and Swiss Institute, New York (2012).
Nicolas Trembley is a Swiss critic and curator working in Geneva and Paris. He is the co-founder of Bureau des Vidéos, Paris, and has organized exhibitions at Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris; Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris; Fondation Cartier, Paris; and CAPC Bordeaux. From 2004 to 2008, Trembley was the curator in charge of visual arts programs for Centre Culturel Suisse, Paris. In 2008 he was appointed head curator of the Syz Collection, Geneva. His work appears regularly in Frog, Self Service, Flash Art, Beaux Arts Magazine, Numéro, Artforum, and other publications.
